There’s something different that happens when you take contractors out of their truck or office and put them into a relaxed, competitive setting.
That’s exactly what we set out to do with our latest Superpath Pop-Up, this time alongside our partners at Butcher Distributors, hosted at Topgolf in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
An Event Built for Connection (and a Little Competition)
This wasn’t your typical industry event.
- No booths.
- No badges.
- No pressure.
Instead, the event was filled with great food, cold drinks, friendly competition, and, most importantly, real conversations. Between swings, laughs, and a little leaderboard rivalry, relationships were built the way they should be: naturally.
We had the opportunity to connect with 10 local HVAC companies, including Lynx, Blue Heron, M&M Scott, Shield Mechanical, RAM Heating & Air, Air Vantage, Pack HVAC, Red Stick, Big Chiefs, and Airwise HVAC. Each conversation brought new perspectives, shared challenges, and honest insights into what’s happening in the field right now.
Why We Believe in Pop-Up Events Like This
At Superpath, we’ve said it before, and we’ll keep saying it - the best conversations in this industry don’t happen on a trade show floor.
They happen in environments like this.
These pop-up events are designed to:
- Build real relationships without the pressure of selling
- Create space for idea sharing between contractors, distributors, and marketing experts
- Hear unfiltered, real-time feedback from the people doing the work every day
- Deliver education in a way that feels natural, not forced
- And most importantly, create a memorable experience that people actually enjoy
It’s a different approach, but it’s one that works.
The “Win, Win, Win” Strategy
What makes these events so powerful is that everyone walks away better.
For Contractors:
You get peer-to-peer interaction, the chance to learn what’s actually working in home services marketing, and time with a team that understands your world, without being sold to.
For Distributors:
When your contractors grow, your territory grows. Partnering with them with the right marketing strategy strengthens your network, builds loyalty, and even opens the door to new revenue opportunities through programs like Superpath’s partner initiatives.
For Superpath:
We get to do what we love, connect face-to-face with contractors, strengthen relationships with partners like Butcher Distributors, and have real conversations about what’s actually driving growth in this industry.
That’s why we call it a win, win, win.
This was just the beginning.
We’re already looking forward to Event #2 in April, bringing more contractors together, creating more opportunities for connection, and continuing to build something different in this industry.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about marketing.
It’s about relationships.
And those are built best, one conversation at a time.
