Local Service Ads Are Changing…

Hey Home Service business owners! I'm Natasha Youngblood, a Paid Media Specialist here at Superpath. If you're running your own Google Local Service Ads, there's an important update you should know about.

Google recently announced that Local Service Ads are moving into the Google Ads platform. Don't worry, though. The core of your campaigns really isn't changing.

What Is Staying the Same?

You'll still pay for valid leads rather than clicks. Your ads will also continue to appear in Google Search and Google Maps, and you'll still target customers based on the services you offer and the areas you serve.

What Is Changing?

Instead of managing your Local Service Ads in a separate dashboard, you'll manage them inside Google Ads. This gives you more control over your campaigns, but it may also come with a learning curve!

Google is also changing how budgets and bidding work. If you've been managing your ads yourself, it's worth taking some time to understand the new platform before your account is migrated.

Stay Ready for the Transition

If you'd rather focus on running your business than keeping up with every Google update, Superpath is always happy to help manage your campaigns. Otherwise, be sure to stay tuned right here - and on our social channels - where we'll continue sharing updates and tips from Google that're relevant to the Home Services space.
